Upcoming Events for St. Mary's Navilleton Youth Ministry
 

Blessing Bags Donation Items- We are asking for donation of items for “blessing bags” we will be putting together as a service project by our middle and high school aged youth for the homeless population. We are making this a joint service project with our faith formation program and will be asking each grade level to bring in different items. You may send those items with your children on November 12^th. You may also drop them off at the parish office. Please contact Stephanie Willis for more information.

Advent Gathering “Bethlehem”- Save the Date for an advent gathering for families of Navilleton & Starlight at Navilleton on Saturday, December 16^th in the afternoon. More information to come!

Confirmation Class- We will have Confirmation Class December 3rd. Class will be from 11:30AM-1:00PM with lunch provided. 

Middle School Monthly (December)- All middle school aged youth are invited to attend the Immaculate Conception Celebration on December 8^th from 6-9 PM at Holy Family Parish in New Albany. The cost to attend is $10 per youth. There will be mass, adoration, strawberry shortcakes and open gym. The deadline to signup is November 30^th. Please sign up at catalystcatholic.org/msm.

Navilleton Christmas Cookie Bake- All Middle School and High School aged youth are invited to join us for our annual Christmas cookie bake, decorating and delivery. We will meet at 10:30 AM on Saturday, December 9^th in the Activities Center at Navilleton. We will bake, decorate, and plate cookies that we will deliver as a group. Following deliver, we will have pizza for lunch back at Navilleton. If you can drive to deliver, please let Stephanie know. Please sign up with Stephanie by December 7^th.


High School Boys’ Basketball- If you are interested in playing high school boys’ basketball with the St. Mary’s/St. John’s team at the deanery level, please let Stephanie Willis know. Practices are on Thursday evenings at St. John’s Starlight from 7:30-9:00 PM. Games begin in January.  The cost is $55 a player to cover fees.

Open YAC’s @ Navilleton/Open Gyms @ Starlight-
We invite all of our middle school youth to join us for games, fun & of course, snacks in the YAC & Gym!  Here is the schedule for the remainder of 2023 and beginning of 2024-  November 29 @ Navilleton, December 13 @ Starlight, & January 24^th @ Navilleton 6-8 PM. Please make sure you have a medical release form on file before you participate. 

High School Hangouts
Calling all high school aged youth! We will be having “high school hangouts” beginning in August for all youth in grades 9-12. We will rotate locations between Starlight and Navilleton each month. The purpose of these gatherings will be to get together to socialize, enjoy some snacks, share our faith and of course, have some fun! These will begin at 6 PM and end at 8 PM. The Starlight location is Smith Hall, inside the Parish Office and the Navilleton location is in the YAC. The schedule for the remainder of this year and the beginning of 2024 is as follows:  November 27 @ Navilleton, December 11 @ Starlight & January 8 @ Navilleton.
